Well right now we are all familiar with TFC trees, unless you are new here, and I have to say that some trees are just awesome, like the douglas fir,sequoia,kapok, and willow, but what about their layout? what about forests? i have to say i dont like how forests spawn in TFC,they have low density and almost all the trees are small trees, more like the borders of a forest and not like the core of a forest itself.I think that forest should spawn with a core and a border, the core will be composed of big trees and bushes(like the one on jungles) and they should be of high density, making it hard to see the sky(but still with some little holes) and the occasional forest clearing, some big and some small, and in the borders there should be small trees and with lower density and an occasional bush. Thanks im glad you like it, but the blockheads textures are just there while i make the new ones for johnsmith.what do you mean by logs? the trees? or the pile? or the items? i think the trees could improve, in fact thats what i will be working on next.

I prefered to make a new thread with my textures, you can still use them but i will use that one to update them as i make them,feel free to add them to your pack whenever you want.

Before people start bitching saying that i did not used the search bar let me tell you i did, and i found some threads with the basic idea but i wanted to expand it a bit more, this are some threads worth reading: -This was taken out from this http://terrafirmacra...__fromsearch__1-Another thread touching the same aspects http://terrafirmacra...__fromsearch__1 -This one talks about quivers too but its a bit empty http://terrafirmacra...__fromsearch__1 So what would quivers do? they will make you able to carry 16 javelins at a time. they will be made with 3 leather in a vertical possition and 3 sticks to its left side, vertically too. They will also open a new space on your items hotbar, at the righ of the first slot were you will put your javelins.That way you will be able to shoot javelins faster by not having to move through your hotbar. Now the arrow part. When you have a bow but not a quiver you will take more time to charge you bow so you will need to make one, and once you have one you will shoot them faster than the normal speed (as of vanilla TFC speed).It will have space for 64 arrows and the number of arrows left should be displayed somewhere in the GUI( i leave that to you guys). You will have to replace both the arrows and the javelins manually when they ran out, so its not so OP and you can only have one of each,but if you have both at the same time you will move a bit slower. Tell me what you think and help with any other suggestion.

whoa, i remeber this being suggested way back on april, when the mod was just starting out(or at least i was XD ) Loved the idea the first time, i will love it the second time too, i like it!

Yeah i think that it should hold between 3-5 javelins, and i liked what JAG said about the information of how much javelins are left.

Thanks for the comment, yeah i do know about that tip thanks for that, but this will be better because you will not have to fill your whole hotbar xD

I have almost his complete filmography, i just love kurosawa, he inspired me to be willing to become a movie director one day.I have tought of uploading some of the movies i have so others can see them but im not sure if people will like it, if you want any movie from kurosawa or any other just tell me and i'll se what i can do.

What really bugs me is that they could at least make a quickfix for the weird tree bug, the one that makes trees grow without a base. Im not saying that they should rush it and that bioxx and dunk are dicks, no its just that thats a very annoying bug and it could be fixed, unless its something very hard to fix.

OMG someone, finally someone who knows him!!!! its not the seven samurais its from yojimbo both made by akira kurosawa my favorite movie director, the actor its toshiro mifune he acted as kikuchiyo in seven samurais and as yojimbo.

to install NEI you must have nei and chickencodeloader in the coremods folder and forge too but forge in the mods folder, it works perfectly for me that way.

i have played piano for 6 years, and about the flute it depends on what kind of flute i play a bit of the recoder (dont know if its the correct name its this instrument http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recorder) and when i play very long notes on it what i do is that i take an small breath (if you take a big breath you'll have more trouble) and then i relax myself and exhale very very slowly that way i can keep up to 7-8 sec. Good luck playing the flute, music is just awesome and even more if you interpret it.

I love the idea of more metals, and more variety. I was impressed with the idea of The All Seeing Eye (funny name XD) making alloys work like meals and let people make alloys of everything. If not a very cool alloy would be beryllium bronze or beryllium copper its an alloy of copper berillion and i think tin also (not sure) and its very strong and has lots of properties. I like the idea of making all kind of alloys possible because imagine in a server someone is known because of his incredible metals but no one knows the recipe even if he sells them (they wont be able to see its "ingredients") that could add some meta-skills just like bioxx and dunk like.

Ho yeah i have seen that happening to me too, its quite weird but it has never bother me, it always goes back to a forge and i can use it with no trouble.

You can find igneous rock above ground, its just kinda rare. Keep looking!

i suggest you to defrag your Harddrive, i had a similar problem(with AMD processors and ATI card) and i downloaded a program called game booster, awesome program, and i defraged my Hard drive and it went much better. You can use CCleaner too. PS: if you use CCleaner be sure to uncheck all the things you wish to keep ( passwords on interntet, cookies,etc)

Woah! i love this suggestion, i think it will add great things to TFC on multiplayer, really good job on this one sir, i really liked thie introductory text, its funny XD But i didnt understand the log part, randomize at the temperature they generate and how long they burn? if thats right i like it.
