      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The weapon upgrade is probably also the cause of it. xD. But yeah, I haven't forgotten about this. I'm just very busy, and don't have a lot of time. I will surely be spending time on this every now and then!
  2. Oldsmobilia (VividCraft)

    Uh... what's the server IP?

  4. Thank you

I'm thankful for... EVERYTHING! 'nuff said.
  5. Sandwiches

I've always wanted this in games. Make it happen Devs!
  6. Sandwiches

I'd keep a pig as a pet. Bacon. 'nuff said.

Yeah, I'm glad to explained it. I love milk a lot, and kind of think vegans are a little extreme. (My ex-bass teacher was a vegan. Turns out he went to jail for something I'd rather not say after I had left. Let's just say I'm glad I got out.) I always say vegetarians are much better, because at least then they're SAVING animals. Guess what happens when you decide not to drink that milk? Poor Bessy is going to make a fine steak tonight. lol. That's my thought process anyway... helps me stay sane when I eat the things I love. Yeah, milk is pretty clean. If anything it's cleaner than the water out of your unfiltered sinks. Heck, if we want to compare clean, take a look at the air in the morning as the rays shine in through the windows. Yeah, Milk is WAAAAAAAAY cleaner than most things. I'm sorry I mentioned it before... didn't mean to scare anyone. O.o

I live in America. And I understand cow's are milked by robots. I was just comparing my mom's experience of milking them by hand where she lived (Everything was done by the community, with almost no outside help), which fits the world of Terrafirmacraft. We don't have robots in the mod, so we would be milking them by hand, and they would get pretty messy. I actually would like to see a 'mini-game' for it, so I can keep my milk farmers interested in what they're doing. xD

By yellow, I meant the milk was contaminated. lol. And I never lived there, it was my mom back when she was younger. She lived in a commune up in Canada, and they did it by hand. In the snow. And set their coffee in the snow outside the windows of the second story. She didn't drink milk for a long time... but she does now. And I've always had. :3
  10. Sandwiches

My mom would have never given birth to me if she drank from the bucket... yuck! Ooh, that would be nice! If you could remove the hairs and stuff like IRL out of milk! (Sorry if I've just converted some people to not drink milk... yes, they do have tons of hair in it. And if you're not careful, it's dyed yellow.)
  11. Forging.

(Sorry, this is off-topic... but...) "Ok" at smithing, but awesome at role-playing! I read your story thing in your sig. Very good! Over on the Minecraft Forums, I actually host a few RPs, and you might be interested in joining. Send me a PM if you are. I'd also like to know when you plan to do more. I liked the story very much, and want to read more. :3

Oh. I'll just space them perfectly along the road that during night I can light the torches in the house and wait it out. Should be good enough. I also hate how you need flux to get leather stuff going.
  13. Sandwiches

Hahaha! I don't think he meant it literally. I didn't. Just more food combinations would be better. And I wouldn't mind sandviches for the nobles.
  14. Sandwiches

I expect great things are to come of this post. BLT. Without the T. :3 Even if it's not added, now I want to come up with specialty foods in servers, and be able to serve "The Creeper Sub" or "Squid Supreme" or anything else I come up with. :3
  15. Forging.

Okay, thank you. I'm very glad I have to walk such a long distance, because before there was almost no reason to ever explore your world to find anything. I just don't play very often due to my schooling, and that's probably the only reason (I tend to stay close to my house because I don't write down the co-ordinates... I don't like getting lost. xD) I'm not finding it. I'll just have to try harder, build roads, and have safe-houses! I love safe houses. I've never had to build them 10,000 blocks apart before, though.
  16. Sandwiches

Eh, alright. I guess that justifies my point there. :S
  17. House in the mountain

I'd hit like 50 times on your post, but the limit is 1. Good work!
  18. Sandwiches

I like the changed to food, but I agree with NikkyD. I rarely eat all the food groups together, let alone in one day. I'd like it if I could sit down and eat my yummy sandvich when I want, then eat a healthy salad later. Also, shouldn't there be something to make it so adding certain foods to certain dishes taste bad? I wouldn't like fruit on my sandvich. But other's might, so make that per character perhaps. (I also hate chips on my sandviches. Just a thought. :3)
  19. Forging.

@Red3Tango. Oh. Dang it. Okay... thanks for the input. I find it a little crazy that you have to go that far... but I'll do it. For science. I'll also make sure my inventory is empty, and bring a barrel filled with large vessels, filled with small vessels, just so I can carry enough back with me. :3 I'll leave no ground in the entire area if I have to!
  20. Forging.

Sadly, I've never gotten to that stage yet. I never manage to find myself chalk (Or what else it says on the wiki) I need to make Flux. I've cheated and played with my younger brother in creative... but I was smashing the buttons because I had nothing to lose. Other than that, I think learning to smith isn't that hard. As Metamorfos said, keep going until you get it. Once you get it, try again, but try to get more accurate. Eventually your'll get a 100% perfect pattern down, and your'll have nothing to fear other than not finding more Flux! BTW, (No, not Better Than Wolves...) does anyone know how to find the stones needed for Flux? I've traveled far and wide, and never manage to travel far enough to find a place with those types of stones. Am I just not setting up enough bases and roads, and then not continuing out far enough? I generally travel out half a day, then turn back and make it home by night fall. Sometimes I'll be out until night... but I've only tried that once or twice.
  21. Sorry

I hate it when developers rewrite the whole game, as it always takes them such a long time to get back to it. I know a friend who's working on a game, and he hasn't been able to release an update for the game since 2012, which is when he started to rewrite it. It not only makes us wait longer (Which isn't the part I'm worried about), it makes other's lose interest, and the developers lose themselves. The only way I can see this working, is if it goes on in the background, alongside with the current TFC. Otherwise, everyone will get all angry at the DEVs, and either leave, or post hate-mail every two seconds. (Plus, I love updating TFC. :3) Then again, rewriting would help them add in ALLLL those things they can't do now. Such as changing time to be longer (As was discussed somewhere else), or anything else they've hit as brick walls. If they COULD manage to get a TFC2 working, that would be a significant improvement! If they can pull it off in a short enough time to not kill the community, or slowly reel it in as they focus on the big fish, then I'm all for it. Please don't waste your time DEVs if you don't think it's a good idea. So far, I like everything about the mod! Just do what you think is right, and don't lose hope! I'll always be waiting for that next update.
  22. Dinner Table: New Saturation Mechanic

I was suggesting making a very base number everything is multiplied by. You make it so time, seasons, crops, mining speed, all of those are multiplied by this one number. By default, it's set to 1... so everything is multiplied by one, equaling the same number, and thus no change. If you were to increase said number (As in, in a config file) to something like 1.5, or 2, or 0.5, you would effectively change the speed of the day/night cycle, without messing with a single mechanic. The problem Kitty was saying, is probably the fact that they aren't set up for that. I don't believe it would take very long to add in a simple code to multiply them all by x value. The problem might just be missing one, and seeing your crops finish sooner than you expected, or charcoal finishing before the day is over.
  23. Dinner Table: New Saturation Mechanic

I also agree about the time of day. It really bums me that nothing can be done about it without a ton of work, but I think it would lead to great things in the future. If you made every task take a little longer, and increase the days to last a lot longer, I think having multiple people in a world would mean a lot more. Everything would still be possible for one person... but it would feel more right if you had the chance to see the farmer wake up in the morning, and start farming until night.... I personally take a LOOOONG time to go out hunting and exploring, and by the time it starts to turn night, I know it's too late to build a house. I end up looking at the sun the whole time, and wait until it's mid-day, then I chop down a ton of trees and build a house at the last second, as I only have 5 more minutes to complete it. I really hope you reconsider the time... rewriting a bit of the code in a bunch of areas to all follow a simple script will be able to make it editable in the future. You can then edit said script whenever you want if you want to increase/decrease time. It could then also be an in-game option, or world creation option, that would allow players to have REAAAALLLYYY long days, or days/nights that literally last seconds (For those maniacs!)
  24. Woven Clothes

Step one: Make a cloak. Step two: Make a blanket. Step three: Put on blanket. Step four: Remember you made cloak. Step five: Wear cloak over blanket!!! Step six: NINJAS. Step seven: Rethink steps and go straight to step six!
  25. Domesticating Animals

I've always hated the idea of infinite animals/monsters/mobs... but this is crazy. If animals don't know how to grow their own babies in the wild, and run away from you, then you're going to make them go extinct within the first week. (GAME time, mind you!) If animals were abundant enough, would defend themselves/run away, then I would say no infinite spawns. But we don't have anything like that right now, so we might have to stick with infinite animals. Also, I like the idea of domestication. When I saw the change log I was like "O.O" and wanted to play right away. xD. I'd like Kitty to move with it a little more. It fits in with the idea of the improvements to cooking... why not move onto animals? I'm sure wild cow tastes different than domesticated cow. Or baby sheep and adult sheep. (HINT HINT, KICK KICK.)
