      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    It would be relatively simple to add a 'wardrobe' type inventory/system. Which would be awesome. Maybe the use of backpacks for carrying the clothing or bedrolls etc. Would be cool! I love the use of the environment as a challenge its really fun and interesting how it works!

    I hope that there is an incorporation for ivory! Would be awesome for making decor etc!

  4. Wolves are being bothersome.

    I have two wolves. Ive been petting them everyday. They love me I love them. Its a win win right. Besides the fact I cant control my female dog. Once her familiarization turned gold, shes been stuck at 33% into gold. Shift right clicking doesnt pet her. It just likes to tell me im some sort of dog pervert by pelting me with her gender over and over. I get it game, shes a female. Can I pet her now? But my male is just fine. Has the collar now and everything. -sigh- Wolves Wolves Wolves. Where art thou.

    No lag wit hanyother source of fire. Its all mudbrick and then interior of the house is Maple planks. I have replaced the whole chimney with normal stone, and the lag is still persisting. I may just have to resort to using the outside firepit.

    I will try replacing Reis with Voxel,Zans, and see what it does from there. Edit: Sigh. All the minimap mods are garbage these days. JourneyMap I will it on. Whelp, Journeymap is nicer than I had been told. However changing it did not change anything. FPS Still drops. Removing mods til the lag stops. Retested. Single Player lag has vanished. Multiplayer is still laggy however. This is driving me nuts. Went to the outside firepit I have, and no lag. However I have a firepit inside in a fireplace I had built, and that's the only one lagging. I was suspecting it was the Diorite Mudbricks, swapped them out for stone and I am still getting the lag. -sigh-

    In most cases, Natives used sun-drying to preserve their food as well. They used bone tools and utensils, i.e. the whole animal was used. I hope TFC2 adds more of these tactics!
  9. Cooking with TFC (WIP)

    Id love to see more use for meats! Examples: Meat Grinder (Grinds meat) Intestines (used with a grinder to make brats) Using ground meat to make patties! Burgers! Using the sandwhich menu with a burger should work fine! Being able to add cheese and veggies would be awesome! Maybe a veggy burger? And with burgers maybe a grill? And with a grill maybe some tools like a spatula, or tongs, metal fork? Meat Thermometer! Could use the anvil with a metal sheet to make a grate and have to put it over a forge block, doing so could change the forge blocks overlay perhaps to make it more user friendly to cook on. Stuffed Turkey! Mashed Potatoes. The possibilities are endless! Meats just need more uses than being smoked, salted, and pickled! haha! But those would be my top choices for addition!

    While I disagree with having a pre-metal age saw. I will agree however that bone tools would be a fantastic addition. Just like the Native Indians/Americans. Bone is a useful resource and is sadly getting the short end of the stick. (no pun intended). However, when it comes to bone use, it should only be used for knives, javelins. Maybe using bone as a stick it should give a bit more durability as bone is stronger than most sticks! Would love to see some work around bones, plenty of things they could be used for!

  13. It looks like there might be an error somewhere. I have set up my automated bellows, they are fueled and ready to go, but.... I pop the lever and nothing happens. I have it on the 6sec delay option, it looks like I have it set up correctly. Could use any suggestions XD Have tried with just TFC and bellows addon and still nothing. Maybe its because im running it on a server? Unfortunately i'm new to forums and have no idea to make a 'spoiler' or post images.
  14. SEUS 10.1 Need Help

    I had tried following that video previously, and to be frank, it did nothing. I broke down and deleted the weather files and am using the vanilla weather. However it still gives the fog and overcast effect which is nice. I also have seen your post on the fixes, that's how I fixed water and moving entities, however I disabled the waving due to lag. I'm currently running smoothly with the standard edition of seus. Water looks great, light looks great, and hell, the weather looks half decent after removing the files. Big thanks for that post! The only other issue i'm running into is trying to have light emanate from another players light source. I know dynamic lighting had an option to add items on other players to emanate but could not find anything like that within the shader mod. And breaking blocks gives a bright white crack line. Annoying, however tolerable.
  15. SEUS 10.1 Need Help

    I've recently been dabbling in using shaders mod, and this is a long shot for being in the correct forum section(as there is no Help area that isnt TFC Support only). I've gone through and fixed tons of issues with the SEUS 10.1 Standard Shaders. Everything is running fine... Except for weather. When it comes to weather I am not getting rain particles nor snow particles. I just cant seem to find a way to get them to show, and I have not come across an answer anywhere else. Why am I asking in the TFC Forums? Simple, The shaders are working perfectly smoothy in vanilla. So I have come to the conclusion that since weather in based on season, that TFC uses custom rain/snow determined by season. So, any ideas?
