      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Etho`s terrafirmacraft series

    I think Etho got bummed out that none of the tree farm implementations still work that used to give loads of instant wood... Other reasons are too much grinding in finding the right ores in large quantities. I think his world seed was not as lucky and he had to travel very far away. Finally, he lost his Journeymap markers which meantrediscovering everything.

    I'm a little confused about the need to have huge sprawling ore veins in a single rock type on a island at least 2000x2000. First of all, i assume the ores are still restricted to the rock type they belong in. So for copper, some rock types just wont have it and the player must go to another island to find the rock type that has it. Then it is guaranteed to find copper of course. Secondly, some rock types have multiple ores that can generate in them, so will this remain? One rock type - one ore type per island is probably too restrictive. Finally, the player finds a huge ore vein at some island, maybe there are more huge it will be trivial to find,but then how much ore would the player possibly need to advance? Even in TFC1 for me 1-2 veins of rich ore was enough to progress a tier. I can only imagine more ore will be needed for smelting than ever before, to produce a single piece of armour for example.

    Having only 1 type of rock per island is not very immersive tbh. TFC1 has mountains composed of several different rock types, such as igneous intrusive rockin sedimentary rock. I hope the 'geological' aspects in TFC2 are not taking a step backwards. Also, if the islands have mountains up to 255 from 64, that is really excessive and could make mountains look really weird on a "small" island. That is just my imagination tho.

    As far as I am aware, minecraft in the windows store is pocket edition since both are compatible with each other. This version is not MC 2.0, since it's always catching up with the Java edition. There will be hell to pay if the Windows version of minecraft gets major features that the java version doesn't have. However, some things do go from pocket edition to java edition, like the new boats in MC 1.9.

    I assume the blocks, no matter what type, have infinite compressive strength, but as shown, variable shear strength for lateral support. Kinda like 7 days to die.

    Perhaps we can discuss better geology in TFC2. As source for inspiration I cite the following mod: BetterGeo First I would like to ask Bioxx if he considered any changes in TFC2 that are not present in TFC1. Namely rock types and ores, and new uses. Perhaps TFC2 can benefit more from geological formations, and rock relations, rather than huge expanses of a single rock type. Of course, all in the context of the new island system.

    You get the IDs using NEI (not enough items) plugin.     Is it true the Vanilla MC 1.9 boats are now nearly lag free since they are client-side now, not server-side? No more rubber-banding? I hope they will be available in TFC2 with a customised recipe even if Bioxx has no plans with boats.

    Run it with Optifine perhaps? Reduce render distance to the minimum chunk distance? If your graphics card is not fast, shaders will never run very well. And almost unbearable with integrated graphics. I assume the Sildurs Lite shaders preset is already the least demanding.

Running ccleaner and removing all your browser cache and saved forms may help. Also, try disabling your firewall in case windows is accidentally blocking the page.

    I agree with Tony. FatPoulet, you have to troubleshoot the cause of the problem on your computer. It's a step by step process until you find what is configured incorrectly. We cannot guess what is wrong and cannot provide more help until you give feedback on what you tried.

    Your internet connection settings are probably incorrect. Maybe you are using a proxy or you have some issues with static/dynamic IP address assignment. You should do a full troubleshoot (.e.g ).

    That's a great idea. In my country, the products in the supermarket often already have a recipe printed on the back of the box and so it's easy. No thinking required on what to cook tonight. Sometimes though, the problem is that the nearest supermarket does not have everything available for that particular dish and that sucks. For instance, authentic mexican dishes cannot be made in Europe. We don't have the ingredients.

    Awesome, i'm excited we will have a MC 1.9 release of TFC2 when it's ready.

    Gem stones have use in an addon (Decorations by Aleksey) as light emitters on the wall. Better quality gem stone emits brighter light. For me, I wish there was more to discover underground (like previously you would have to dig deep to find sulphur). However, TFC2 will have dungeons and therefore addresses this point.
  24. The latest version of SEUS 10.2 preview 1 still shows the sun in caves during sunrise and sunset. But otherwise no other jarring visual effects. I think it's acceptable.
