[SOLVED]Custom Recipes For TFC Items? PLEASE HELP!!

OK, so I am creating a TFC server [build 75].

I love the realistic aspect of the mod, but I really, REALLY, want my players to be able to craft items such as pistons that require iron, diamonds, redstone, and other non-included items.

I have seen a server before that does this, but I don't remember the name of it, so I can;t contact the owner, although i wish soooo bad that I could.

Do I have to use Eclipse to do this, and if so, are there exact item ID's or names for the TFC items?

Otherwise, do I use a Custom Recipe plug-in that somehow interacts with the TFC items?

Please, PLEASE, help me solve this. It would be so greatly appreciated. Also, let me know if you want to contact me, I would be up for that.

Theres an option in the config file that enables vanilla recipes. It allows you to craft TFC diamonds into vanilla diamonds, TFC iron ingots into vanilla iron ingots... redstone is already obtainable in TFC via a few of the minerals.

All the fun of working your ass off for TFC items and then you get to craft the vanilla items

Also, if there are recipes you can't get through the config file option Dunk mentioned (TNT for example, since it requires vanilla sand), you can install CubeX's Custom Stuff Mod or the Custom NPC's mod and add the recipes yourself.

This is not really what I was asking. I want to allow my players to, for example, craft a piston with steel ingots, and kapok planks, and so on. I want my players to use TFC items to craft Vanilla items.... Is there a way of doing that without having to convert your ingots and stuff?

Also, will Custom Stuff know what I say if I talk about TFC items? Or is it only for Vanilla items.

Finally, what are the specific names for the TFC items? Are there item ID's, or how do I specify them in the files so that the files understand what items I'm talking about?

The CustomNPCs mod does what you're asking for as Dijayus pointed out. We use it on Roanoke server to craft vanilla items like pistons and enchanting tables using a mix of vanilla and TFC items.

I tried "Custom Stuff", and it didn't work for me..

I already had custom NPCs on my server, so figured I would try it, and it's SO simple.

I thought I would have to be coding like a pro or something!

It's pretty cool that custom NPC's has this built in to their UI...
