      Server Move   09/13/18

      I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. I'm not sure. I will have to dig through the config file but I seem to remember that there was something like that in there somewhere. The question is why though? It allows your animals to breed normally and if you separate them male and female once they are on your farm they should stop breeding until you pair them up again...

Right,right. Never mind. BTW, I don't MineTweaker, but if you or someone does, I suggest changing some of the recipes for Weather (specifically, wind vane and maybe anemometer) to be craftable with early game TFC ingredients. Because iron gold and redstone is a super restrictive cost.

This looks awesome. I had a small but popular server running once that used the Zombie Awareness mod as the basis for it, but I discontinued it as I was told that most of the ZA code had actually been incorporated into TFC already. Is that not really the case? Do you find the mob behavior to be much different with ZA installed compared to without? I'd love to play together on a server like this.

I will need to run some testing but I have noticed that the number of zombies and their horsing behavior is quite distinct. I will run a few tests with za and without and get back to you :)

I downloaded all the mods from your links and if it brought me to to the homepage i downloaded the latest version of that mod. I am using TFC 79.15.538 with Forge 10.13.2.1272.

 

You need to update TFC, or get rid of all the addons that are 79.16+ compatible, such as cellars.

We are actually now only waiting on an update on the streams mod from what I can tell so when that is done we will be good to go for TFC++ 79.17 I have been watching like a hawk since the Tfc update for these tfc specific mod updates to come through. I will add a note to the top of the post to make sure no one else has this problem. Sorry about the confusion. I also have been working on the configs and will be uploading that soon as well.

So what mod is the earthquakes part of? I know its not the weather one as they started before i installed that mod. Also how long do they last?

I have actually been making some major revisions to this pack and plan on posting an updated config as well as changing some of the mods listed. The earthquakes were one reason for this as they always happened around me and far to often. Enviro mine was the culprit.

Is anyone having trouble making the alcohol. I put 40+oz of apples, potatoes, barley in a full barrel and waited 72 hours and the only thing i got was rotted food.

You made sure the barrel was full of fresh water, and you sealed it after putting in the food, right? You can't use salt water or any other liquid. Also, it has to be barley flour.

yes it was full of fresh water sealed after the food was in for all 3 foods and was barley flour

should i be taking this to a different forum? I was figuring it was this mod pack since my normal TFC the Alcohol works just fine
