      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    I'd be happy to join - I've been digging for a good server for some time now. The only active one I've come across is HappyDiggers, and frankly that world is as populated with as many people as there are metals still left there. Good TFC servers are hard to come by these days.

Griefing is intentionally adding or removing blocks that cause unnecessary hassle to another player. I'm looking for a good community of people to hang out with. I'm a social bug. What will you add to the server? I've been known for creating some pretty impressive works on a few different servers. If you have any of the old Tomatonet or Terrakingdoms crew amongst you, they can probably vouch for me. Architecture and an eye for detail are my specialty.
  11. The reason I opted for one person per weapon type is because each NPC Merchant can only sell a maximum of twelve different items. Otherwise I would've gladly merged them.
  12. I have an idea, and since we have CustomNPCs, this will work nicely. If we put in the work (and I'd certainly be willing to since my job is pretty damn easy) We could roll these NPCs out in any town with the cloner tool, and so long as it was the standard used, and all the coin values are universal, this could work. In my town anyway, I plan to have access to each of these services available somewhere.   15. Yeah - I took a few hours away from working on my city to build up a safe place near /spawn. Best decision ever methinks. Ended up with a great little inn safe from mobs. Great advertisement
  16. Alternatively, if rolling back is not an option, a full reset would have it's benefits. Hopefully, we would have /spawn and respawn in the same location, and not have two servers separated by 29,000 meters again. Keeping the map smaller would benefit the server as a whole in performance as well I would assume. Just a thought. I have worked very hard on my fledgling city, and I know there are several others who have too, so I know the loss would be relatively tremendous.

    <digs a spike pit moat around his house and covers them with 1x1x1 dirt blocks> bwahahahaha... Anyway, as I pointed out above, this isnt necessarily a hunting/gathering specific idea - I would thoroughly enjoy having some proper defenses again.

  22. Piles of stuff

    Is it possible to make piles of stuff on the ground? Like, something similar to how a fire-pit works, you place x amount of any given object on the ground, it will create a 'pile' of said item. The pile should vary based on the type of item - stones would obviously pile differently than dirt. Throw a stack of stone on the ground, poof, you have a neatly stacked pile of stones in that tile. Too many gems? Toss em in your vault and let them pile up (yes that is referring to http://terrafirmacraft.com/f/topic/2300-gems/). If there isn't room, it wouldn't stack. Aside from the (amazing) idea of having vaults full of gems and gold, it would add a little more feeling to mines with large piles of cobblestone and dirt along the sides of your mine tracks until they are removed. In forests that have been recently logged, you might see piles of leaves, sticks, and saplings. In the kitchen sink you might see a pile of bowls, the local inn may have a pile of glass bottles (for water of course), and the marketplace would have piles of foodstuffs on the market stall tables. Just a thought.

    Thats very true though. Expanding on the blueprints idea, selling or trading the blueprints to your epic chair/table/bedframe/column/whatthefuckever design could add just another dynamic to a TFC economy. +1
