ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Is it much worse when you encounter hostile mobs? Does the launcher say it's too busy processing memory packets? I'm having this too. I suspect some kind of memory leak. Or maybe paging problem, is your HDD slow? I got 1TB WD caviar Black but it's slow for some reason

I'm zombieposting here but I was searching forums if anyone came up with the same idea I had. The energy mechanic could be simplified to just hunger depleting. The hunger bar is used up way too slowly right now, when you for example dig all day it becomes noticeable. Such strenuous physical activity should require massive amounts of food.

It's likely one of the boulders. Try breaking it see what drops, maybe your textures are broken.

Running mods is completely fine, just be sure to follow instructions precisely. Install Forge with installer, change profile on logging in, put mods in mods folder.

I usually do a fresh MultiMC install and just transfer saves, but this is a great idea that would hopefully cut down the clutter on support forums...

When animal eats on grass that grows on natural clay block, it turns that block into regular (not vanilla, normal for that biome) dirt. Also, Fruit tree leaf decay mechanics are wonky, sometimes if you break a leaf block adjacent to one that isn't connected directly to stem/branch, the unconnected leaf block disappears even though it's connected to several other leaf blocks that are supported by branches directly. The disappearing block does not drop fruit. I am sorry if these are reported already, did not find them anywhere. I may edit this post in future if I find other glitches.

Yeah, with how much you need to travel in TFC compared to vanilla, it's a real shame that water travel is limited to a single inventory and the buggy simple boats. It might be freakishly hard to code any new boats though, considering how bad they still are in vanilla.

What about carved (with metal knife or axe) bows from different types of wood? It would add nice character imho and also exploration aspect different from hunting for ores all the time. Stick bows could stay, with their current power as the most primitive alternative (see: http://i.imgur.com/X1gHH.jpg ).
