      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Eels should be a new mob for a few reasons, they can be cooked(or smoked) over a firepit to make food. When cooked over a firepit put a container(something like a jug) into the output slot and aswell as the cooked eel meat, you will get eel oil. Eel oil can be used for oil quenching in metalsmithing, and the oil can be used like naptha to create fire bombs of some sort. There can be different kinds of eel like giant eels in the ocean, electric eels in the jungle, and swamps, and normal eels just about everywhere else. Lastly, eels are good for philosopizing.

to eel or not to eel.....hmmmm i think that something like that might just be planned (heard something about multiple fish mobs a while ago)

but ask dunk about that, he's in charge of coding mobs :D

Eel oil could also be used for lanterns. See other thread. Also has anyone else noticed that in fantasy novels they're always eating eels?

as a matter of fact eels are a very popular delicacy in many parts of the world :)

prices for a kilogramme range from 1000-1200 $ and in most parts of the world (asia not included).

they are also higly nutritious, having been an important source of protein and Omega-3 oil for most of scandinavia, Great Britain, and various other places.

Eh... how about no random mobs, it would start to feel like Mo' Creatures. Dunk already gave his opinions on a myriad of animals and fantastical creatures. and lol JAG those are called capybaras in English.
