This. I really love a lot of the more complicated aspects to crafting but something like this is a must for the inexperienced to still enjoy this mod at first, then learn the complicated parts later.

I'm just trying to avoid Fantasy creatures, but if everyone agrees on it then I can't say much.

While we're at it, here's a list of Mobs that I think should be added; Please note: Most of these come from the Mo' Creatures mod but I feel they can be redone to fit the needs of TFCraft better. Mob: Goats Drops: Skin Use: Milk Mob: Crocodiles Drops: Skin Use: Armor Mob: Deer Drops: Meat, Skin Use: Meat Mob: Wolf Drops: Skin Use: Predator Mob: Bear Drops: Skin Use: Predator Mob: Boar Drops: Meat, Skin Use: Meat, Predator Mob: Birds Drops: Feathers Use: Mob: Rabbits Drops: Skin, Meat Use: Mob: Foxes Drops: Skin Use: Mob: Horses Drops: Skin, Meat Use: Mount Mob: Camel Drops: Skin, Meat Use: Mount Mob: Jaguar Drops: Use: Predator Mob: Bandit (Human) (Replace Zombie) Drops: Bones Use: Predator Mob: Bandit Archer (Human) (Replace Skeleton) Drops: Bones Use: Also, I like the idea of Human enemies instead of the current vanilla mobs. I feel most of them can be retextured and their behaviours modified to again fit TFCraft better.

No I agree with you, it doesn't have much of a place. Fuck Skeletons bro.

Bonemeal in real life is used mostly for food/medicine products like Gelatin. IIRC.

I liked the idea someone suggested earlier for a knife. Knives could be used on saplings to cut away the little branches, producing one stick each. It may not be a huge addition but it will help out.

A chatbox for the forum would be nice to post things like links to live streams or other interesting things. I don't feel like the IRC would appreciate that kind of spam, but it is a necessary evil nonetheless.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing haha. As for the Tanning Rack, that's an excellent idea that could be used for turning raw skin from mobs into useable leather pieces. Every animal should be able to be skinned for that matter, not just Cows.

You raise some valid points that I wasn't thinking about just yet. I do have other drastic suggestions for mobs in the future though, like removing/replacing a lot of them. I feel this mod is trying to be more realistic but skeletons and zombies aren't very real to me. Personally I'd rather be fighting off things like bears and wolves.

Compost could produce Methane, which could be used as a fuel or even to fill things like a hot air balloon.

I find sticks are rather tedious to find when starting a new world. A way to combat that would to be able to craft saplings into a stick.

I believe Crysyn, as well as myself and probably many others, would prefer having something thinner to work with. A vertical half block if you will.

This seems pretty awesome and I'd like wind and water power to work with as well. Perhaps a windmill can be made to grind wheat?
