      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  11. Large mountain biomes suited for mining

    I'd like to see nuggets and related in TFC2, but with these mechanics: Nuggets spawn like they did in TFC 1 but with a larger range from the ore, something like 3-5 times the TFC1's currrent range. They spawn more frequently when closer to the vein. You can find rarely bigger nuggets (poor and normal) when closer to the vein It's possible you alreadydone the nugget-small ores mechanics, but if you didn't I'd like them to be something like this. Remember that sometimes my ideas are not well-elaborated, cause when I think of them, I have to rapidly write them, or I will probabily forget them.

    Better if they don't break down, but dirties the fresh water in them after a tot. distance of travel (of the water). Copper should be the best tube, and water in it don't change (don't dirties) but it does not purifies the water). I think we don't need Iron and Steel tubes, as Iron is useful (without the "ful") only for farms, and we have already brick tubes, and Stainless-Steel is an high level technology.

    A few days ago I tried to kill a squid with stone javelins, and I broke my 4 javelins without killing the squid. Stupid squids, they will kill all us.

    I have an idea. The ore that we can see in the picture, should have patches of stone, cutting every now and then the vein,or can be moved in a direction. Example: Original vein ----------------- Spawned vein ---_----- ------. ---'- _-

    Other thing can be also oracles. Well, they can't prevent what will appen. But if an oracle says that there will be fire, then, there will be thunderstorms for a period that can ignite the woods.

    Yes, but it will be something different from classic magic mods. I want magic in TFC2. But is a very delicate argument. Magic should remain something strange and misterious, and often dangerous. The simpliest and more common (but difficuld and not common) way to use magic can be potions. Like the Druids in Asterix! Serching for not common plants, like 4-leaves-clover, and animal parts (heart, brain), or rare vanilla ingredients, too. And potion effects would last for more time than vanilla ones and slowly decrease. But often potions should have collateral effects, like nausea (possibily strenght potions), blindness (when night vision effect ends), poison, and mining fatigue (regeneration). And finally, a potion should not be called potion of strengh and have 1 effect. I'm still thinking to Asterix... The "streght" potion should give strenght, resistance, and haste for example. And when ends nausea. This is my idea, sorry for grammatical errors. And this does not mean potions will be the only magic. Other magics can be done in super rare altars, where you have to kill an entity, and the "output" will depend on what mob you killed and how you done the sacrifice. And, obiously killing player will give a lot of output. Leads should be used to capture other players.

    I think you all focus so much on magic. Fantasy does not mean magic. First of all, the Player should not be able to use magic when he wants. Remember the Player is human and, in my opinion, magic should be something rare and couldn't be used everywhere. Nobody should be able to work with magic, turning to a mage, but only to utilize it for specific events and places. No-one wants TerraFirmaCraft2 have things like magic staffs of Better Dungeons or Ender eyes thrown to the sky to see where is the portal, no?

    I think he means skipping already conquered islands. Unconquered ones should be conquered beforing them. IjuanGB's idea seems PERFECT to me.

    This night he came in my dreams. He is a mage that shoots explosive-fire-arrows and when closer (4 blocks?) lauches fire. He is a statue and become a mob when a player comes near it, like something like an ancient guardian. Is found in a dungeon somewhere in the nether.

    IMO yours is a very good idea. I never though about guns in TFC2 but now i see, they can fit. I love having guns during exploring dungeons.
