ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Short answer no. I'm not sure why you would need to. The unit value of the metal mean nothing outside of TFC. The liquidmetals in TFC aren't even forge fluids. -
It is the username change that is the cause. The player food seed is based on the world seed value and thebyte value of the player name.

No this won't be fixed. Using NBT for the ores was a mess and no other ore spawning support mods worked withthem. CustomOreGen (COG) had a special module written to deal with GregTech ore, which I'm not sure ever worked right. You could try that. Even then most used the PerFabrica Ad Astra (PFAA) mod'sores with COG. PFAA blocks do work with TFCOre.cfg, but PFAA requires Custom Ore Gen mod be present and you'll need to disable all the generation through that. It'sa pain, but itdoes work. Ihad that all working soon after 0.79 TFC was released, but havenot touched it since and well a lot has changed since then. There is a reason any modpack that tries to combine the 1.7.10 GT and TFC is a mess of bugs.

Yes this is intended. This prevents player death loops. If nutrition was not reset a player could conceivably get down to 50hp at respawn, which takes time to recover from. If their spawn wasn't safe (night with mobs at spawn point) they would have no choice but to continually repawn to die. They'd probably lose all their items as well. The mod is meant to be fun for a wide audience, so gameplay choices were made based on it. Eing challenging, but fun.

TFC has 4 chisel modes. Smooth, step, slab and detailed. If you have more than that you have addons present that add chisel modes. TFC smooth chisel modeis hardcoded, so addons have to add their own unique mode even if they are just adding a smooth mode. My TerrafirmaStuff addon adds a smooth mode to make hardened clay pavers, as well asnumber of modes for chiselling clay with different designs. I've given my mode icons a slightly blue hue.TFCAdditions I believe adds 4 modes.

The client error indicates you were in creative and that one of the tab icons is invalid. The server error is for the superseed, which is used for calculating the anvil recipes. Not sure why that is throwing fit. On another note Finger In the Wind, Damage Indicators andJourneyMap(?) areclientside mods and should not be on server. -

I'm not sure why you'd want to do that. It is overkill. TFC slows down time when no players are on. At 1000x time is pretty much at a standstill. Then just have scheduled restarts with chat warnings. -
Funny I've never fired a javelin in creative to notice the difference. I always assumed the wobble was intentional. I'm terrible at following the openGL render stuff. However I can't see anywhere in TFC code where being in creative changes anything of consequence. It may be something leveraged from MC code. Either way it is just visual, may be intentional and well TFC isn't being maintained anymore in 1.7.10.

Why do people keep using this old bugged version. This was a well documented and quickly fixed bug. This version was only latest build for a week before build 24 fix this bug. The current version is 0.79.29 and has been for more than 6 months.

ingot that cool down too fast and lag makes metal-working even worse (yeah it was in the config, I wonder myself of how I didn't noticed that)

So here's the basic go. All dimensions (end, nether and other mod dimensions) have various bugs based on the various handlers not being written to work in other dimensions. The obvious one is inventory issues, where items vanish and reappear, likely some sync issues. There are also issues with the chunk handler, messing up environmental variables and loading. These bugs shouldn't corrupt saves, but the bugs may require client and possibly server restart to fix The Nether used to crash and corrupt saves for a couple of reasons. The corrupting crashes are fixed. However the other bugs persist. The End is still a copy of overworld with the end skybox. Traveling to the End used to reset your spawn point to that dimension.You'd have to cheat in a end portal to get to End and the only way I could get back to overworld was to die. I could not figure out a way to get endportal, cheating or killing dragon, although I'm sure there are ways to do it with commands. Other bugs still exist.

I wouldn't give food items as rewards. That will most likely be the cause of corrupt food nbt.

The crash report says that the nbt data on that food is corrupt. It is expecting an int value for the fuelProfile tag on some smoked food.

That is not a feature of TFC. You need to report that to the modpacks maker.
