Indeed it did crash again.

I see that the server crash is caused by the sequoia bug.

Can anybody explain what that is, and how to avoid it? The only thing I've been able to gather is that it has something to do with sequoia tree leaves.

EDIT: Found out the bug is caused by cutting down a large sequoia tree, and the method of avoiding it is to not cut one down.

Sorry, guys, server's back up. Kind of worried, wondering what to do, don't really have the time to park myself on the server this week to keep it up, and don't have the time to try and fix myself either.

Just researched our other crash and it looks like it's the concurrent modification exception bioxx is trying to fix. So at this point the main problem is the spawn bug. Spawn Anywhere isn't properly saving the spawnpoint after modification in 1.3.2. I tried a naive fix and it didn't take so I'm going to have to deal with it better tomorrow.

ok what happened someone tried to chop a sequoia again i take it ? i thought all had been made aware of the fact it crashes if u chop them at the moment

i dont know if its a coincidence, but the last two times i died, the server crashed afterwards.

i had my entire afternoon planned out makng a 24 willow tree charcoal farm surrounded by a 4 high wall with blocks extending off to stop spiders lol well that plans out the window . i just hope its still morning when i manage to log back in so i can go collect the rest of my stuff from my old home lots of tools and food there and the plans for all my stuff oh well heres hoping to a quick restart

The server just died a few minutes ago. This time, the lag became intolerable (30+ second lag), then it just crashed.

so 50 was just released i take it cause of the world generation change that a new map is going to be implemented again lol well three days on this one and just found huge deposits of copper and gelena and cinnabar ha oh well its to be expected with a beta game ill see if kurt and deb are up to having the tree of us building a good little town or settlement on the new one

lol same i decided that youtube was fun this morning while i wait for server status and i will have to go out most of the morning so if i cant do anything now im bored till 2pm when the mrs goes to work .
